01 General questions

About Gamma, the platform, the reward models, and how it all fits together.

Gamma is a two-app loyalty platform. Gamma Business lets merchants design and run any loyalty program from their phone. Gamma Wallet lets customers keep every card, credit, and reward they will ever earn in one place. It is not a payment processor, not a crypto wallet, and not a traditional points app — it manages reward contracts, not money.

Gamma Wallet is a cardless, multi-service digital wallet. It allows customers to earn, store, exchange and redeem reward value across many merchants. Every reward action is logged and auditable. It manages value promises, not money.

Traditional loyalty rewards past behavior, creates unpredictable costs, locks points to one brand, and has low redemption rates. Gamma rewards future behavior, creates guaranteed demand, makes rewards liquid and transferable, and chains customers to the next visit instead of the last one. Traditional loyalty looks backward; Gamma looks forward.

A pool is a time-bounded reward contract between a merchant and a group of customers. Each pool defines who can participate, for how long, how value grows, when value becomes redeemable, and where it can be spent. Pools are the core logic of Gamma — every reward service is implemented as a pool type.

Discounts reduce margins immediately, attract price-sensitive customers, and do not guarantee return visits. Crowd Loyalty increases value without lowering prices, rewards customers for bringing others, and creates demand certainty. Crowd Loyalty is not crowd buying and not crowdfunding.

It is a prepaid loyalty pool where customers deposit money in advance and receive increasing rewards based on total crowd deposits. A merchant opens a pool (e.g. Christmas, summer season), customers deposit funds usable only at that merchant, the larger the total deposit the higher the reward percentage, and funds become usable after pool closure. Merchants get guaranteed upfront cash flow; customers get higher reward value and stress-free big-event spending.

A non-prepaid crowd pool where purchases happen in-store and rewards mature after pool closure. Payment happens at the counter, rewards are unlocked later, and the model encourages group shopping and referrals. It increases minimum spend, drives repeat visits, turns customers into brand ambassadors, and saves margin compared to discounts.

The digital evolution of stamp cards. Fixed reward percentage, granted instantly, no crowd logic, simple and predictable. Ideal for small merchants, entry-level loyalty, and everyday purchases. Unlike discounts, the reward is redeemable later — ensuring the customer walks back.

Each purchase increases the reward percentage; the next visit is always more valuable; the multiplier resets after redemption. This logic increases visit frequency, moves stock gradually, and mimics "buy 3 get 1 free" without a single big hit. AI can suggest optimal multipliers based on average spend.

Layered Rewards segment customers into tiers, each tier earning a different reward percentage, with rewards remaining future-redeemable. Layered Discounts use the same logic but apply instantly as a discount — less preferred due to margin impact. Gamma encourages reward layering first, discount layering only when necessary.

Membership pools allow merchants to create service tiers (VIP, Gold, Premium), offer exclusive benefits, and generate predictable recurring revenue. No physical cards, no friction; membership status lives inside the wallet.

Direct Credit is store-locked reward value. Issued instead of generic points, it can be spent flexibly inside the same merchant and guarantees 100% value recycling back into the business. Direct Credit is also the only service that can be combined with any other reward program — every other model runs on its own at any given time, but Direct Credit can be layered on top to give customers extra spendable credit alongside their main program.

Yes. Gamma includes a Customer Exchange Reward Market where customers exchange reward value with other customers. The merchant is unaffected and often gets new referrals and walk-ins. Rewards become liquid assets, not trapped points.

No. Gamma does not store money, does not promise money, and does not act as a payment intermediary. It manages reward contracts only. All monetary transactions remain between merchant and customer. Pay however you want — Gamma handles value after the purchase.

Every action — reward creation, redemption, exchange, expiry — is recorded in a tamper-resistant log, ensuring transparency, auditability, and reduced fraud.

SME merchants who want loyalty and customer retention, customers who want real value rather than trapped points, and markets where cash-flow certainty matters. Gamma covers needs and wants, not just impulse spending.

A reward is an additional value promised to a customer as a result of an action — usually a purchase or program participation. In Gamma, a reward is a digitally recorded value contract with clear rules: how it is earned, when it becomes usable, where it can be redeemed (always at the same shop, but exchangeable between customers), and when it expires (up to one year, depending on the merchant).

A reward credit is applied after a purchase, stored for future use, requires the customer to return to redeem it, does not reduce the current price, and creates guaranteed walk-back. A discount is applied instantly, reduces margin immediately, gives no return guarantee, and attracts price-sensitive customers. Gamma prioritizes reward credits because they increase loyalty without destroying margins.

Rewards live inside Gamma Wallet, which acts as a cardless loyalty wallet, a single digital identity across all participating merchants, and a multi-channel value container — not a payment wallet. Customers register once, use the same wallet across many merchants, and see all earned value in one place. No physical cards, no repeated registrations, no fragmented apps.

Most wallets are tied to credit cards or banks, focus on cashback rather than loyalty, lock rewards to one issuer, and do not allow peer-to-peer exchange. Gamma is different:
• Merchant-driven, not bank-driven
• Reward contracts, not cashback
• Cross-merchant — one wallet, every shop
• Crowd-based value growth
• Built for local commerce and SMEs, not just big brands

No. In Gamma, no credit card linking is required. Rewards are generated by merchant-validated actions. Gamma does not monitor or store payment data, which reduces privacy risk, regulatory complexity, and dependency on banks or card schemes.

Gamma does not compete on cashback. Instead, it offers future redeemable value, higher effective purchasing power, and community-driven reward amplification. Cashback is transactional; Gamma is relational.

Gamma Wallet (customer app) and Gamma Business (merchant app) are available on iOS and Android. Both use audit-grade logging, do not store sensitive financial data, and use minimal personal data. Security is achieved through architecture, not surveillance.

Within the Gamma ecosystem, yes — rewards can be transferred between users, with no penalty to the merchant, and the exchange often generates new referrals. In most traditional systems, points are locked to one brand. Gamma transforms rewards from liabilities into liquid value.

Yes, from the first line of code. Phone number plus nickname (email optional). Biometrics never leave the device. EU-only servers, encrypted at rest and in transit. One-tap delete, permanent.

Yes. EU Commission guidelines cap rewards at €200 per customer per cycle. Gamma tracks this automatically and warns merchants before a customer reaches the threshold.

Customers: free, forever — no fees to earn, hold, or exchange rewards. Merchants: free to download and free to launch a first program, no hardware. Advanced features (large pools, multi-shop) are on a simple monthly plan you can cancel any time.

Live across Europe today, localised in 16 languages including English, Italian, Greek, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Czech, Hungarian, Bulgarian, and Albanian.

Traditional reward wallets protect data by encrypting card details, complying with PCI-DSS, and relying on banks and card networks. Gamma protects users by not collecting financial data at all — no card storage, no transaction interception, no money custody. Less data collected equals less data exposed.

Gamma can coexist with payment wallets, does not replace payment, and sits on top of commerce rather than inside payments. You pay however you want; Gamma handles value after the purchase.

Consumers: free, no hidden cost (no data monetization, no restricted redemption). Merchants: fees depend on pool type, business size, and transaction volume — aligned with delivered value.

Seasonal businesses (cafés, bakeries, wine shops, farm boxes) and community-rooted brands with a base of committed regulars. Crowd Deposit pools deliver guaranteed upfront revenue, predictable cash flow, and an average 87% redemption rate (versus ~20% for classic loyalty).

02 Help · Gamma Wallet (for customers)

Using the customer app — register, find shops, redeem, transfer rewards, manage your account.

Download Gamma Wallet, enter your phone number, and pick a nickname. Verify with the SMS code we send you. That is the whole signup — no email required, no password to remember by default.

After signing up, you will receive an SMS with a one-time code. Enter it on the verification screen and your account is active. Verification keeps your wallet tied to your phone number, which is the only credential required to log in from a new device.

Tap "Forgot password" on the login screen, enter your phone number, and we will send you an SMS with a one-time code. Set a new password and you are back in within seconds.

Install Gamma Wallet on the new device, enter your phone number, and confirm via the SMS code. Your wallet, history, and balances all follow your phone number — no separate restore needed.

Point your camera at any Gamma QR code at a participating shop. The card is yours in about two seconds — no form, no email confirmation, no wait.

Open the Map view inside Gamma Wallet to see every Gamma-enabled merchant around you. Switch to the list view to filter by category, distance, or star rating.

Open the merchant's page from the map or list, tap the star rating, and choose 1 to 5 stars. You can leave a short comment to help other customers. Ratings are anonymous to merchants but visible publicly.

Tap any merchant in the list or map. The merchant page shows their location, opening hours, the reward programs they run, and your active balance with them. From here you can view rewards, scan the merchant's QR, or contact the shop.

Open Gamma Wallet → My Cards. Each card shows the merchant, your current balance (credit, stamps, tier, or pool position), and when it expires.

Open Gamma Wallet, tap the merchant you want to spend at, see your available reward credit, and show the QR to the staff member. The reward is deducted in real time at checkout.

Open the merchant's page, tap the active Crowd Deposit pool, choose your deposit amount, and confirm. The funds are added to your pool balance and become spendable in-store after the pool closes. Deposits are non-refundable once the pool target is met — they convert into in-store balance when the pool closes.

Yes. Inside the Gamma ecosystem you can exchange reward value with other Gamma customers. The merchant is unaffected and often sees a new customer walk in. Rewards become liquid assets, not trapped points.

Yes. Sign in with your phone number on each device; the wallet syncs automatically. If a device is lost, sign out remotely from the Profile screen on any other device.

Open Gamma Wallet → Profile → Edit. You can change your nickname, language, and notification preferences at any time. Phone number changes require re-verification.

Profile → Language. Choose from any of the supported languages; the app refreshes immediately.

Profile → Activity. You will see every reward earned, redeemed, deposited, or exchanged, with timestamp, amount, and the merchant involved.

Each merchant sets the validity period for their rewards (up to one year). Expiring balances appear in the wallet with a countdown so you have time to redeem or exchange them before they lapse.

Install Gamma Wallet on the new device, sign in with the same phone number, and complete SMS verification. Your wallet, balances, and history come back exactly as they were. If you also need to remove the lost device from active sessions, do so from Profile → Devices on any logged-in phone.

Yes. Gamma stores only your phone number and nickname — no email by default, no biometrics off-device, no payment data ever. EU-only servers, encrypted at rest and in transit. One-tap delete is permanent.

Open Gamma Wallet → Profile → Delete account. Personal data is erased immediately. No 30-day grace period, no hidden backups, no follow-up emails. Balances you have already earned are retained by the merchant subject to local law.

You need an internet connection to scan, redeem, and sync. Once a card or balance has loaded, you can view it offline; redemption requires a live connection so the action can be logged.

Yes. That is the core of Gamma Wallet — your bakery stamp card, your gym VIP tier, your café crowd-pool balance, and any store credit all live side by side in one app.

03 Help · Gamma Business (for merchants)

Running your shop with Gamma Business — setup, dashboard, services, scanning flows, reports.

Download Gamma Business, register with your business name, mobile number, and email. Verify your business profile and you are ready to design your first program.

After signup, Gamma Business sends a verification email and SMS. Click the link, enter the SMS code, and submit any required business documents (depends on country). Once approved, you can publish programs and start accepting customer scans.

Tap "Forgot password" on the login screen, enter your business email, and we will send a one-time code. Set a new password and you are back in immediately.

No. Your phone is the POS. No terminals to rent, no POS integration, no five-figure setup. Download, verify your shop, and go live in about five minutes.

Your dashboard shows revenue this week, active programs, redemptions today, and total customers. When you have a Crowd Deposit pool running, it shows pool size, deposits, current reward percentage, and the live reward curve.

Until you publish your first program, the dashboard shows a guided checklist: verify your profile, pick a reward model, set rules, and publish. Once a program is live, the dashboard switches to live metrics.

Open the Service List, pick one of the eight reward models (Individual Instant, Layered Reward, Membership, Layered Discount, Direct Credit, Crowd Deposit, Crowd Purchase, Incremental Rewards), set the rules, and publish. Five minutes from download to live program.

Reward programs are mutually exclusive — a shop can run only one of the seven main reward models at any given time (Individual Instant, Layered Reward, Membership, Layered Discount, Crowd Deposit, Crowd Purchase, or Incremental Rewards). Direct Credit is the one exception: it can be combined with any of the other services and run side by side, giving customers store-locked credit on top of their main program.

Service List → Crowd Deposit → New pool. Set the size target, closing date, deposit minimum, and the reward curve (how the percentage rises as the crowd grows). Publish, and the pool appears in the wallets of customers who follow your shop.

Service List → Crowd Purchase → New pool. Define the eligible products or categories, the closing date, and the reward curve. Customers opt in from Gamma Wallet and every eligible purchase counts toward the shared reward.

Open the Scan Panel, point the camera at the customer's wallet QR, and the right action — earn, redeem, top up, sign membership — runs automatically based on the program type. Under two seconds per scan.

Reward scan: the customer earns credit after a purchase. Redemption scan: the customer spends previously earned credit at checkout. Top-up scan: the customer adds funds to a Crowd Deposit pool. Each scan flow has its own confirmation step in the app, with the amount clearly visible to staff before they confirm.

When a customer joins a paid membership, the scan captures a digital signature on the device that confirms the customer's acceptance of the membership terms. This produces a verifiable digital record in the audit log; both sides retain a copy.

1) Customer opens Gamma Wallet and shows their QR. 2) Staff opens Scan Panel and scans the QR. 3) The app shows the customer's available credit for this shop. 4) Staff enters the amount to redeem and taps Confirm. 5) The amount is deducted from the customer's balance and recorded in both the customer's wallet and the merchant dashboard.

1) Customer pays at the counter. 2) Staff opens Scan Panel and scans the customer's wallet QR. 3) Staff enters the purchase amount. 4) The app calculates the reward (per the active program rules) and shows it for confirmation. 5) On confirm, the reward is credited to the customer's wallet and recorded in the dashboard.

The dashboard shows redemptions today as a live counter. Tap it to see the breakdown by program, by amount, and by staff member who performed the scan.

Yes. Multi-staff and multi-device access are included on the free plan. Each staff member signs in on their own device; every action is logged and tied to who performed it.

Signatures are captured on-device during membership and high-value redemption scans. They are stored as part of the audit log (tamper-resistant), not as raw image files in your phone's gallery.

The app shows an error message tied to the underlying issue (no network, customer not in pool, balance too low, expired reward, etc.). Each error has a translated message and a suggested next step. The most common cases ("customer not in this pool", "insufficient balance") let staff offer a clear next action without ambiguity.

Crowd pools close automatically on the end date you configured. You can also close manually from the pool's detail page (Service List → pool → Close now). When a pool closes, balances become redeemable and the dashboard switches the pool's view from "deposits" to "redemptions".

Profile → Edit. Update your business name, address, opening hours, photos, and contact channels. Profile photos appear in customers' map and list views, so a clear front-of-shop image helps.

You can see only what is relevant to your shop: the customer's nickname, their balance with you, and their activity history at your shop. You never see a customer's data with other merchants.

Yes, Gamma Business is localised across all 16 supported languages. Each staff member can pick their own language under Profile → Language.

Dashboard → Reports. Export CSV summaries of redemptions, earnings, customer counts, and pool performance for any date range. Useful for accounting and end-of-season reviews.

Each staff member has their own login. From the merchant Profile → Devices, you can see active sessions, log out a device remotely, or disable a staff account if a phone is lost. Combined with device-level biometrics, this keeps the cashier flow secure without slowing it down.

EU Commission guidelines cap loyalty rewards at €200 per customer per cycle. Gamma Business tracks this automatically per program and per customer, and warns staff at the scan moment if a redemption would push a customer over the threshold.

Yes. Direct Credit is the only service that can be combined with another. While your main program (for example a Crowd Deposit pool or an Incremental Rewards card) is running, you can issue Direct Credit for purchases, milestones, or occasions, and the customer will see both balances side by side in their wallet. Combining any two of the other six main programs at the same shop is not supported — you would need to close one before launching the next.
